1976, chestnut Saqlawi Jadran of Ibn Sudan stallion. (Omagh x Ghadib). Bred by Mary Frances Doyle.
Dib’s dam Ghadib was leased by Doyle cousin Barbara Baird. Barbara bred Omagh to Ghadib in 1975 to produce Dib.
Dib had a body that was attractive to endurance focused breeders. He was acquired by Danica Cuckovich Piers/Dubois of Fa Raad Arabians in Northern California in 1980 and was sold again to Teddy Lancaster in 1985. Dib came to the Doyle farm in Oregon in the early 1990s where he was ridden often. He eventually died there.
Dib had 750 liftime AERC endurance miles. 450 were accumulated under the ownership of Danica and another 300 with Teddy.
