According to Al Khamsa, the Lady Anne Blunt in a herd book entry for Bint Helwa (APS) shows Jerboa as out of the “original mare, Dahmet el Hamrah (Bay), Dahmeh Nejibe of Ibn Aweyde. There is further information forthcoming (post 2020) based on research done by Edouard Al-Dahdah concerning the strain and tribal origin of Jerboa.
