Ghadaffa was leased in 1965 by Jerry Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was bred to Jadib while in Colorado to produce Ghadib which under the terms of the lease was Ellen’s foal. The second foal was Jerry’s and she produced Sierra Saxon. She returned to Iowa in the early 1970s along with Ghadib and was leased by Doyle cousin Barbara Baird. In 1972, Ellen transferred ownership of Ghadaffa to her son Terence Doyle.
Ghadaffa was in Iowa until 1980 when she was shipped to Terry Doyle’s home on Long Island, New York. Ghadaffa was then shipped to Bend, Oregon in 1991. She died on the Doyle farm in Oregon in the mid 1990s.
