1928, chestnut Kuhaylan Da’jani stallion. (Gulastra x Nusara). Bred by WR Brown, he was one of two early foundation stallions of the Doyle family.
Nusi was owned by Ira Goheen of Kansas. “Doc” had purchased Gulida, who was in foal, in the summer of 1949. After the foal was born the spring of 1950, the Doyle’s took Gulida to Nusi in Kansas to be bred. A 17 year old Terry and “Doc” picked her up after she had been bred and Terry remembers rear ending a guy on the drive home. Gulida was unharmed and the resulting 1951 foal was named Im Gulnar.
