1965, chestnut Saqlawi Jadran of Ibn Sudan stallion. (Ibn Gulida x Bint Ghadaf). Bred by Ellen Doyle.
Omagh was leased by Doyle cousin Barbara Baird in 1970. In 1972, Ellen transferred ownership to her son and daughter, Terence and Mary Frances Doyle. Omagh left Iowa in 1975/76 when he was leased by Danica Cuckovich Piers/Dubois of Fa Raad Arabians in Northern California.. Omagh then made his way sometime in the late 1970s to Leslie Neppel in Colorado.
In the early 1980’s he was shipped to Terry Doyle’s home on Long Island. Omagh arrived in New York, literally, in chains. A young Lucy Doyle, who was no more than 4 or 5 years old at that time, played “tea” in his stall frequently. He was a gentle horse unless he was treated poorly, when he reacted in kind. Omagh died at the Doyle home in New York.
